About the Practice
West Texas Neurosurgery was founded in 2004 by Dr. John Dorman. At West Texas Neurosurgery, our team strives to provide the highest quality care possible. Along with the treatment of immediate and chronic problems, we strive to integrate the doctrine of prevention in all our treatment plans as a way to alleviate possible future difficulties.
Dr. Dorman practices at Midland Memorial Hospital and Medical Center Hospital in Odessa and has offices in both cities. In addition to serving Midland and Odessa, Dr. Dorman sees patients from all of West Texas as well as Southeastern New Mexico.
Dr. Dorman is a board certified neurological surgeon and performs both cranial and spinal surgery.

West Texas Neurosurgery serves a a population of over half a million people in an area of almost 50,000 square miles. This area includes a large part of west Texas and southeastern New Mexico.
